National Gallery of Victoria; guided tour

Sunday May 15th: 2:15 for a 2:30 start.

Examples of the works of Joseph Wright of Derby (1734-1797) from the NGV Collection. Wright was a contemporary of Samuel Johnson and Sie Joshua Reynolds.

Susannah Fullerton, the renowned presenter on literature in general and Jane Austen in particular, will be addressing the topic: “A clean shirt for the Ladies”; Dr Johnson and the women of Scotland” based on the tour of Scotland by Johnson and Boswell.
